A Search Page is a WordPress Page<\/a> with a custom Page template<\/a> to give users more information for searching your site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to create it?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Follow these steps to create a search page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. On the Admin Area<\/a> go to Pages > Add New.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. In the title field enter Search<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Add a new block<\/a> named “Search<\/strong>“.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Publish the page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    How to test it?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Leave the Admin Area and go to the User Area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Click on the Search link from the Menu to land on the newly created Search page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. In the search field, type the keyword to search and submit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. The search results must appear on the same page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. If no post is found with the keyword then “No posts were found.” message would appear.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
