{"id":16358338,"date":"2023-08-08T08:06:26","date_gmt":"2023-08-08T08:06:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/documentation\/?post_type=helphub_article&#038;p=16358338"},"modified":"2023-12-20T04:15:34","modified_gmt":"2023-12-20T04:15:34","slug":"site-editor-command-palette","status":"publish","type":"helphub_article","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/documentation\/article\/site-editor-command-palette\/","title":{"rendered":"Editor Command Palette"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#e5f5fa\">The Editor Command Palette is <strong>only<\/strong> available when you install and activate a <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/documentation\/article\/block-themes\/\">Block theme<\/a> on your site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Command Palette <\/strong>is part of the Site Editor and Post Editor and offers you a way to quickly navigate the content of your site and to invoke different actions such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Search for individual posts or pages and create new ones.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search through templates, template parts and patterns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add custom CSS. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access Styles and style revisions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transform and manipulate blocks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toggle settings and preferences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reset customisations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to access the Command Palette<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To access the Command Palette, head to the Site Editor and click on the title, at the top center of the editor. Once the command line opens, you can start typing to search for the action or content you want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/documentation\/files\/2023\/08\/First-Video.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You will also find it available when in the Site View in the sidebar by clicking on the search icon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/documentation\/files\/2023\/08\/Second-Video.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also use the keyboard shortcut <code>Cmd+k<\/code> on Mac or <code>Ctrl+k<\/code> on Windows.
