This is a really great plugin, but it would be helpful if the developer would include a changelog like nearly every other plugin developer in the WordPress universe so that it is not a treasure hunt to figure out what was updated.
After having a good experience with WP DATA ACCESS, I decide to look into Code Manager. Code Manager has helped get all my code organized. It supports HTML, PHP, JAVASCRIPT, and CSS files. Actually, it will handle any program file. From the Code Manager interface, you can open several windows each with different programs open for editing. You can disable a program if you are having problems with it. Code Manager is a great add-on for any user, especially Wordpress users that are using WP DATA ACCESS for their table management.
Great plugin with excellent support from the developer. Makes customising any WordPress page or post extremely easy. Documentation is excellent and includes example code. A great tool for any WP Admin. Works well in conjunction with the WPDataAccess plugin. Highly recommend!
I used data access to develop mysql queries to manage my project data. The query manager in data access does not have short codes so I had to manually go into the queries and run them when I wanted to change my data.
With code manager I was able to create php code which ran those queries from wp pages. I simply used the code manager shortcodes for those php programs that ran the queries and inserted them into pages.
I used session variables to pass data from program to program and even created drop-down menus to allow the user to select the data to pass to those session variables.
Again, no hesitation in recommending this plugin to anyone willing to experiment and learn!
