Author Box WP Lens

Description

This plugin was originally known as “Author Box for Divi.”

The Author Box WP Lens plugin has been developed to work specifically with the Divi theme but has been upgraded to work with any WordPress theme or page builder. It will provide you with nice author boxes for your WordPress blog or website, whichever theme or page builder you use.

Using this plugin, a simple author box that will show the WordPress author bio will be displayed automatically at the bottom of all your blog posts, pages, projects, or media. You can choose in the plugin’s settings on which post types you want it to show.

The plugin will show the author’s gravatar icon by default. Or you can use your own image; just enter the URL of your profile image in Users > Your Profile. You can also specify the URLs for your social network profiles (only those that you enter will show in your author box).

Other features of this plugin allow you to specify the Name Prefix (you can write, e.g., “Author” or “Written by”), Text Color, Background Color and Border Color.

Installation

1. Search for the plugin in the WordPress plugin directory in your WP admin dashboard
2. Click “Install Now” and after that activate the plugin
3. The plugin will already be active
4. Adjust the plugin settings in WP admin panel in “Users > Your Profile” and “Author Box for Divi”

FAQ

Does this plugin works with Divi Theme only?

No, the plugin works with any WordPress theme. Formerly, it had been developed to work specifically with the Divi theme, but this has changed.

Plugin works great and is very lightweight, but I want to highlight the amazing support experience I had. My client needed a specific feature which wasn’t available for their author boxes, and instead of making me add custom code, they straight up added the feature to the plugin, and within days! Very Nice Tool for Divi Blog Sites

While there are ways to add an author box using Divi’s native tools, it is a long process. This plugin makes it very easy to add the author box along with formatting options. The authors are responsive to input and even helped resolve an issue with an option on where to display the box.
