azurecurve Multisite Favicon

Description

Allows each site in a network to set a distinct favicon. Set a network path and favicon to be used if a favicon is not defined for a site.

This plugin is intended for multisite WordPress installations, but will work and allow easy changing of the favicon of single WordPress blogs.

This plugin supports language translations. If you want to translate this plugin please sent the .po and .mo files to [email protected] for inclusion in the next version (full credit will be given). The .pot fie is in the languages folder of the plugin and can also be downloaded from the plugin page on https://development.azurecurve.co.uk.

Installation

To install the plugin copy the azurcurve-multisite-favicon folder into your plug-in directory and activate it.

wp Version 4.9.8 Icon doesn’t appear.

Works for me on Word Press 4.7.3

Plugin works for me in WP 4.7.3, after I entered a proper URL in the setting path field.

Doesn't do the job.

I installed the plugin in multisite, opened the setting page, in it put the 16×16 icon filename already uploaded on the mentioned path updated the settings tried on different browsers with cleared cache, no favicon displayed on any one of them. Then did the same for gif and png but no luck. So just a wastage of time.
