Installation

Minimum Requirements

• PHP version 5.6 or greater
• PHP extensions enabled: cURL
• WordPress 3.8 or greater
• WooCommerce 3.0.0 or greater

Automatic installation

Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you don’t need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install of CardGate for WooCommerce, log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.

In the search field type “CardGate” and click Search Plugins. Once you’ve found our eCommerce plugin you can install it by simply clicking “Install Now”.

Manual installation

1. Upload the zip file with the WordPress plug-in manager
2. Configure the plug-in using CardGate Settings
3. Activate the desired payment methods in WooCommerce

I have updated to version 3.0.4 and now it doesn’t work anymore?

If you are updating from an older version then 3.0.4 you will need new CardGate Settings, or the plugin will not work!

Good service. It’s always possible to speak someone in person and you have a personal accountmanager. Also provides Afterpay, which other payment providers don’t have.

A disappointing experience

We canceled our account when we found out that this company holds your money for weeks; When we requested to be paid they promised us to do so. After a few weeks we received less than half. Nearly 4 weeks after our cancellation we have still not been paid the money they promised to pay. One more thing:they’ll also keep a percentage of your earnings and hold such an amount for 189! days.

Works like it should

The plugin works like it should. From the Curo Payments portal you can push settings to your Woocommerce install after installing this plugin. After that you can activate all payment methods that are allowed in your account.
