Civist – Petitions and Fundraising

Description

Create and configure your petition directly in your own WordPress. Publish them in a page or post and you are ready to go! Your supporters sign the petition right there, embedded in your website.

Just add a donation form to your petitions to collect SEPA and credit card donations in compliance with EU legislation.

With Civist, you manage your supporters directly in WordPress. Contacts are automatically saved in your mailing list manager. Simple!

Export your contacts and signatures as CSV-files for further processing.

Installation

The easiest way of installing the Civist WordPress plugin is to use the built in plugin search of WordPress. Just search for Civist and click the “Install Now” button.

Downloading the plugin and installing it from the ZIP-file is another option. You can always find the current version at WordPress Plugin Directory. To install it:

• Download the ZIP file
• Go to the “Plugins” menu in the WordPress dashboard
• Upload the civist.zip file
• Activate the plugin

It was very easy to install the plugin and embed the petition in one custom page. Support was very proactive in making recommendation on how to improve user experience in the page. Highly recommended

Not a local plugin

I went to try this out, the first thing I see is it wants a agreement to their site terms. From what I saw this doesn’t look like a plugin that runs locally and uses your own server and resources.

This Wordpress extension meets my expectations.Although there’s no way to automatically display one or all signatures and their comments on a WordPress page or post via the Civist plugin, I can extract them in CSV format for later use.On reflection, I find this even better, as I can select the results I want to display.This is a petition, not a survey.Also what is really appreciated is the support who is verry reactive.
