initially this didn’t work, however, reading some support queries I discovered that the menu doesn’t get swapped out if your theme is using AJAX to reload the page/header. I disabled this in my theme (fancy fade page transitions) and this now works correctly.

I am using ARK theme and it literally almost bombs it out. Created new location, created new menu, went to a page and selected current and new menu and nothing changes. The site hangs for about 20 seconds then just goes with same menu as before not the new one.

I needed a plugin that would allow me to change the main menu for specific pages on my wordpress site. This was very easy to install, create menu and add to the specific page that I was wanting. Aweseome! Thanks!

Didn’t work at first : didn’t change any menus (see clash issue later).
Creating one menu under the plugin options and editing one post and one page to change plugin menu settings (under the Post/Page Edit screen) resulted in the 5 page limit notification. “You have reached the limit of pages to show changed menu. Please upgrade to use more: Upgrade”.
I guess your code has a problem or do the 4 menus the plugin creates by default (All Pages, Flat etc…) count as menus so the plugin really is limited to creating 1 menu? If that’s the case, well thanks for your generosity ??
Didn’t show all of the themes default menu locations. The theme tested has 4 menu locations, three available under “select replaced menu”, one available under “select new menu”: menus created under the plugins options page (created one menu) wasn’t listed. Solved this one, if you name the plugin menu description the same as a theme menu description there’s a clash. After deleting the plugin menu and starting again all 4 theme menu locations were listed and the one plugin menu.
I eventually got it working, but won’t be using it for the following reasons.
Adds top level admin menu labeled DuoGeek for a simple options menu, does it really need a top level menu for one option to ad a menu location? Imagine the mess if every little plugin did this!!! Should be a single sub-menu under Appearance or Settings (does not need a top level menu): the additional three sub-menus DuoGeek, Help and Licenses sub-menus are bloatware, didn’t look at the code, but would be concerned about a performance hit.
Why are you enqueing all these stylesheets on the front-end for a simple plugin?
<link rel='stylesheet' id='sn-fontAwesome-css-css' href='//maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.2.0/css/font-awesome.min.css' type='text/css' media='all' />
<link rel='stylesheet' id='sn-animate-css-css' href='http:####/wp-content/plugins/different-menu-in-different-pages/duogeek/inc/animate.css' type='text/css' media='all' />
<link rel='stylesheet' id='dg-grid-css-css' href='https://####/wp-content/plugins/different-menu-in-different-pages/duogeek/inc/dg-grid.css' type='text/css' media='all' />
That will damage performance. If you use this plugin run your site through the Google PageSpeed Insights Tool : https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/ they will be render blocking.
Was going to give 1 star, but it did work (eventually hence 2 stars), shame about the other issues, don’t make bloatware with severe limitations to force users to buy the pro version.

Running latest WP update. – I needed a separate page to have a different menu on it, I tried so many different things to achieve this! Other plugins, and inputting the PHP if Statement, etc etc.. All with no luck!
This plugin managed to work, brilliantly. I ask for a little help whilst installing, a support email was received pretty much instant(!) and got things running perfectly.
Thanks DuoGeeks, I’ve been stressing over this problem for days!! ??
5**** Clear. Simple. Highly Recommend.
