Installation

You can install this plugin in two ways:

1. Installation via Uploader:

   • Upload the easy-hide-admin-menu-items folder to the wp-content/plugins/ directory on your server.

Is there a way to quickly revert hidden menus to their original state?

Yes, there is. A toggle switch is provided in the top admin bar for this purpose.

Can interaction with hidden menus be done from the top bar?

Yes, it can. Firstly, you can navigate to any link from the hidden menu directly from the hidden menu bar. Secondly, you can always delete a hidden menu. Thirdly, once all settings are configured in your admin panel, you can disable the display of hide icons for comfortable admin panel usage.

This is SUCH a clever and simple little plugin. A pity they didn’t include this simple instruction on the download: “After activating the plugin, you hover over an unwanted items icon in the Dashboard which brings up the HIDE icon. Each removed item is accessible via the top toolbar that has a ON/OFF toggle. Couldn’t be simpler. Amazing plugin, such a timesaver!”

I really like the interface that you only need to click an eye icon to hide a certain menu. There is also a switch toggle to on and off switching from the modified menus to the original one and vice versa. Keep it up!

I deliver sites to people who aren’t experts in Worpress or WooCommerce, and it’s extremely useful to offer them a site administration where only the links they need appear.And now I’ve discovered this module which offers the possibility of displaying or hiding for all users, or even for EACH user individually, an admin menu with hidden items or sub-items, according to their needs.And now it’s just 1 click away!1 click and you’re back to the standard menu. Проблема с меню актуальна. Разработчики даже самых мелких и плагинов пихают свои настройки в главное боковое меню Вордпресс из-за чего на крупных сайтах боковое меню становится свалкой. А ведь 90% пунктов используются крайне редко. Поэтому решение как то упорядочить менюху очень крутое. Предложение. Было бы здорово как то обыграть момент если скрывать меню верхнего уровня, чтобы можно было и подменю видеть. Сейчас можно в ручную все по одному перенести, но было бы удобно переносить с иерархией (меню\подменю) по умолчанию или как опцию.
