Installation

For automatic installation:

The simplest way to install is to click on ‘Plugins’ then ‘Add’ and type ‘Gallery – Photo Albums – Portfolio’ in the search field.

For manual installation 1:

1. Login to your website and go to the Plugins section of your admin panel.
2. Click the Add New button.
3. Under Install Plugins, click the Upload link.
4. Select the plugin zip file (easy-media-gallery.x.x.x.zip) from your computer then click the Install Now button.
5. You should see a message stating that the plugin was installed successfully.
6. Click the Activate Plugin link.

For manual installation 2:

1. You should have access to the server where WordPress is installed. If you don’t, see your system administrator.
2. Copy the plugin zip file (easy-media-gallery.zip) up to your server and unzip it somewhere on the file system.
3. Copy the “easy-media-gallery” folder into the /wp-content/plugins directory of your WordPress installation.
4. Login to your website and go to the Plugins section of your admin panel.
5. Look for “Easy Media Gallery” and click Activate.

For Mac Users

• Go to your Downloads folder and locate the folder with the plugin.
• Right-click on the folder and select Compress.
• Now you have a newly created .zip file which can be installed as described here.*
• Click “Install Now” button.
• Click “Activate Plugin” button for activating the plugin.

Images not showing up or Show a spinning icon and never finish loading

Sometimes you may face problem that your images only show a spinning icon and never finish loading, the issue is clearly that there are javascript conflict with your theme and/or some other plugins or there is the possibility of the use an outdated version of jQuery ( below version 1.8.3 ). Let’s find out what causes of this issue:

1. Please try to deactivating all plugins except Easy Media Gallery for a while to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s). If this still does not work please try the second options.
2. Please switch to default WordPress theme such as Twenty Twelve or Twenty Eleven for a while and try again.
3. If this still does not work please open thread from support forum here or you can contact us here.

How do I use the shortcode to my post/page template?

There are 2 ways to use the shortcode, once you’ve created your media, you can use them in your website simply using the Gallery / Photo Albums shortcode wizard on top of each page or post editor.

or you can display it where you want and as you want outside your post/page using wordpress do_shortcode. See example below:

How to show media in sidebar widget

1. Create new Post/Page. Click Easy Media Shortcode button and create a shortcode, after that copy the shortcode.
2. Go to Appearance > Widgets > and drag the Text widget from the left side to the sidebar area that you want it in on the right side.
3. Paste the shortcode code and click save. Done!

E’ una truffa! Non acquistate, il plugin PREMIUM non funziona e l’assistenza non risponde. Dovrebbe essere eliminato dal repository di wordpress. It is a scam! Do not purchase, the PREMIUM plugin does not work and the support does not respond. It should be deleted from the wordpress repository.

Crashed my website

Do not activate this. It crashed my website and was not able to log in the admin. It stated “sorry you do not have access”. I had to go to my host to deactivate the plug in.

ads and missing support

There are way too many ads for their pro version and other plugins and there is no instruction on how to actually post the slideshow – cannot find the shortcode. Even if it is there and I missed it, it should be right where it is obvious and I shouldn’t have to hunt for it.

Easy Media Gallery and Easy Contact Pro Critical Problems

Support for paid members has been terrible for me. Forms extremely complicated and if you provide all the extensive requested details, there has been no response to my questions. Now WordFence has alerted me that these two plugins (Contact Pro and Media Galery) appear to be malicous. Now I am waiting for my 3rd paid plugin instagram feed to be next. Very disappointing to pay for a plugin and fight to get help.
