Installation

Install HM Product Catalog as a regular WordPress plugin. Here are different ways to install plugin:

Install by search plugin:

1. In your Admin, go to menu Plugins > Add New
2. Search HM Product Catalog
3. Click to install
4. Activate the plugin
5. Setup the proper settings in HM Product Catalog menu

Install by upload plugin:

1. Download the latest version of HM Product Catalog (.zip file)
2. In your Admin, go to menu Plugins > Add New
3. Select “Upload Plugin”
4. Click on “Choose File”
5. Select downloaded hm-product-catalog.zip and click on “Install Now” button
6. Activate the plugin

FAQ

I have installed the plugin. What next?

Please go to HM Product Catalog menu, and add your desired Prodcuts.

Prodcut not showing Catalog wise

Please check the double/single quatation mark carefully. Don’t copy paste.

Nothing showing at all!!!

flush_rewrite_rules() as soon as you register the custom post type. It appears that they have not been rewritten yet, that is, most probably, why you’re getting an embarrassing message.
Alternatively you can go to Settings -> Permalinks -> Save changes, which calls on flush_rewrite_rules() for you.

Excellent plugin for a concise product catalogue

I have been looking around for a simple product catalogue for a customer’s new website and tried a couple of other plugins, they were either too complex or I felt you always needed the Pro versions to get what I wanted. I tried WordPress Product Showcase Plugin and the thing that really did it for me was I wanted to display some of the product description on the product gallery using the short code for the homepage and I contacted the developer with a few hours he had done what I asked and said it will put that function in the next release – how cool is that? I’m very happy I have chosen this plugin and just having specialist help from the developer makes a huge difference to achieving the results I wanted. It looks like good code as I can adjust things easily in css to tailor the look I want. Thanks Guy
