Integrate WooCommerce with Vend

Description

This plugin will integrate VendHQ account with WooCommerce store, which means:

1. All Simple products from VendHQ account can be imported to WooCommerce store.
2. Already imported products can be updated as they are updated in VendHQ account with the click of a button.
3. All WooCommerce Sales/Orders/Customers will be created in VendHQ account automatically in real-time.
4. Inventory update happens from Vend to WooCommerce and also WooCommerce to Vend whenever a sale happens in WooCommerce.
5. [Premium Feature] All Variable products from VendHQ account can be imported to WooCommerce store.
6. [Premium Feature] Automatic product updates or sync.
7. [Premium Feature] Automatic inventory updates from Vend to WooCommerce and also WooCommerce to Vend whenever a sale happens in WooCommerce.
8. [Premium Feature] Brands can be imported to WooCommerce as Custom Taxonomy.
9. [Premium Feature] Loyalty points can be tracked for sales hapenning in WooCommerce.

Current limitations but are in our TODO list

1. Does not import Composite products from Vend.

The Integration

Steps:

1. Click “Vend Integration” on left menu in WordPress admin.
2. Enter VendHQ Subdomain, VendHQ Personal Token and VendHQ Cashier User ID and Click “Save Settings”(Detailed instructions are in the page).
3. Now you will be able to import products to WooCommerce by clicking the button “Import products to WooCommerce”.

Installation

This plugin requires you to have the WooCommerce plugin already installed and activated in WordPress. Otherwise you won’t be able to activate this plugin. It is recommended that you use this plugin in a staging environment before installing it on production.

From WordPress Admin

1. Go to “Plugins” > “Add New”.
2. Search for “Integrate WooCommerce With Vend”.
3. Once you find it click “Install” and after installing click “Activate”.

Manual

1. Upload the folder “integrate-woocommerce-vend” to /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
2. Activate the plugin through WordPress admin: Go to “Plugins” and click the “Activate” link corresponding to the plugin.

After Activation

Steps:

1. Click “Vend Integration” on left menu in WordPress admin.
2. Enter VendHQ Subdomain, VendHQ Personal Token and VendHQ Cashier User ID and Click “Save Settings”(Detailed instructions are in the page).

FAQ

Does this plugin import all the products?

The free version of the plugin will import all the Simple products and the premium version imports Variable products too.

What about Variable and Composite products in VendHQ?

Composite products are not currently supported.

Will WooCommerce work with my theme?

Yes, the plugin is not dependent on WordPress themes.

This plugin is absolutely fantastic! we would be completely lost without it. Our site has over 2,000 products that we sell in a retail environment, as well as online. If a sale is made in-store, the site’s QTY’s are updated. If a new product is made in-store, it goes straight on our website. If a product is deleted in store, it gets deleted from our site. You get the picture. Without this plugin, we would have had to manage all the stock for the site separately from the stock for the store. We would have had to use up to 5 premium plugins to manage the stock from the site, as well as having a plugin custom made to handle stock forecasting. We would have had to employ an extra staff member to manage the logistics for the site, and we would have constantly had to cross-reference pricing and stock from the retail division. This plugin removed EVERY ONE OF THESE REQUIREMENTS!!!!! One final thing to note is that Sujith and her team of developers have gone above and beyond to offer the most comprehensive support I have ever received from a plugin developer. We required some modifications to be made to the plugin and the team was absolutely fantastic to communicate with and delivered results in a timely manner time and time again. I can not praise this plugin and it’s developers enough. If you need to integrate your Vend products on Wordpress, this is the only plugin I will ever use.

Great integration for Vend to Woocommerce

The integration from Vend to Woocommerce has been great through using this plugin, it has allowed our store to grow by allowing us to have a website with in sync data. The support from Sujith has also been great any issues we’ve had have been fixed within a day. Overall I am incredibly pleased with this solution after trying so many others, this is the only one that allows true flexibility.
