This countdown nag, which is easily customizable and controllable, is the best nag for the best paywall you can find on WordPress. I have a news site — People’s Pundit Daily — that implemented a metered paywall model. I used to use another paywall, though I won’t talk badly about it, and it hurt my SEO. Working with Google News, which I’ve been doing since the development of my plugin — WordPress Google News Plugin — they’ve told me that the Leaky Paywall was designed perfectly for sites like mine with SEO in mind.
