I used it to create a taxonomy tag for the Portfolio custom post type, and worked perfectly.
I had been trying to write te code manually but WordPress Codex examples are not updated and uses syntax from WP v 3.1 so my code was not working. I finally found this plugin and I was done in 5 minutes. I can’t believe I never heard of this plugin before.
Another good thing about Meta Box is that it will provide you with the raw code in case you want to use the code on your own php file. So you don’t even need to keep the plugin installed to have the code working. That’s so generous!

No idea why they have low ratings and downloads, they are both perfect and nicer than CPT UI or CMB2 IMHO because they work with CPTs themselves so Automattic’s Syndication plugin for replicating to multiple installs, and the standard WP Import/Export all works perfectly for copying to multiple installs or backing up etc.
I’ve tried all the others and really thought they were the ones but then trying this converted me. Pair with ACF and MB Custom Posts and you have a perfect framework for building any data structure.

Updating this plugin removed ALL my Custom Taxonomies.
Thank God I had a backup prior to trying out the 1.2 update.
What have you done to this plugin ????
Please help. I rely on this plugin.

I am not sure if this is possible at all, but I want to restrict the terms in the taxonomy, no more other terms to be added
