Plugin does not work

Before installation i tested the plugin on an local hosted test website where it worked fine.
After installation and activation on the website where i wanted to use the plugin the website crashed and did not came back up until i manually deleted all the plugin files via ftp.
Does anyone know how this could happen and how to solve it?
Site crashed after installation. Costed us a lot of customers! Please do not install this plugin!

Not happy about the way they treated us. Making a plug-in with warnings and forgetting to mention the https required connections for xml import did not make us happy!.
