Russian filename and link (from title) translitter for WordPress. Russian filename and link (maked from title) not correct save by WordPress.

Для примера из заголовка “Приказ № 343 г.Кызыл/.!@#$%^&*()_+|`~ё” получается правильная ссылка на запись “prikaz-N-343-g-kyzyl-_jo”
имя файла “Фото Ивановой И.И..jpg” сохранится как “Foto Ivanovoi I.I.jpg” (обратите внимание на 2 точки перед jpg)
Подпись останется по-русски.

To use plugin, you will need:

• an installed and configured copy of WordPress version 2.6.x, 2.5.x,
  2.3.x, 2.2.x, 2.1.x, 2.0.x, or 1.5.x. (WordPress Signaturer will also work with
  the equivalent versions of WordPress MU.)

• FTP or SFTP access to your web host

New Installations

1. Download plugin archive in zip or gzipped tar format and
   extract the files on your computer.

2. Copy plugin in the wp-content/plugins
   directory of your WordPress installation. Use an FTP or SFTP client to
   upload the contents of your archive to the new directory
   that you just created on your web host.

3. Log in to the WordPress Dashboard and activate plugin.

Не работает на WordPress 5.0

Как появился новый редактор в пятой версии вордпресс, так плагин перестал работать и URL стал формироваться на русском языке, а не транслитерацией, как должно быть. И я это заметил не сразу и загнал в индекс множество страниц на многих своих сайтах. Я пробовал деактивировать и снова активировать плагин и в одном случае, он как-то сработал, но потом снова перестал реагировать на это. Но как только переключаешься на стандартный редактор статей, то он снова работает нормально. В общем, пришло время искать альтернативу этому плагину, ну или автору нужно как можно скорее отреагировать на моё сообщение и устранить эту проблему.

Отличный плагин из одного файла и одной функции! Делает все как надо, можно подправить соответствия букв на свой вкус. Единственное что, нужно исправить увеличить приоритет добавляемых фильтров, т.к. сначала русские буквы превращаются в %D0 %BF, после этого строка обрезается по длине, и потом превращается в латиницу. Из-за этого ссылка обрезается до 40 символов вместо 200. add_filter(‘sanitize_file_name’,’rutranslit’, 5); add_filter(‘sanitize_title’,’rutranslit’, 5);
