Just a word of warning
This plugin is designed more for creating a web site from scratch than for updating an existing site. The plugin setup wizard installs it’s own theme and a few other “required” plugins during the setup process and it will deactivate the existing theme. Even after deleting the plugin (and all the “required” plugins) the plugin theme will be active. To get your old site back, just reactivate the old theme.

Since a couple of weeks I am using the Swifty Content Creator plugin. It still surprises me what the possibilities are with this plugin. Through a simple drag and drop system I can easily add columns, buttons, icons, a header and footer or social media icons. It is also possible to create whole pages with services or products.
This is a wonderful addition to the WordPress plugins. It is easily to combine with the different themes and settings of my own WordPress website. I can simple switch between the Swifty plugin and the visual tab of WordPress. The plugin offers so many possibilities, I would say: just try it.
I have installed this plugin, expecting to find just another front-end editor as there are already many on the market. I was in for a big surprise! Swifty provides an interface suitable for both non-technical users and also for more advanced users. It makes it possible for admins to provide an interface for their users that keeps them away from the WordPress backend/admin panel. Great when you want to keep your clients from “distroying stuff”. Just keep the client focused on creating content and have them not worry about technical stuff. Thumbs up for the developers! This is a plugin I have been waiting for. Many of my clients will love this. Have shown it to several clients in the last few days and they can not wait to start working with it!
This plugin didn’t work on a local install. Broke my site on activation, locked me out of admin, password fail. I swiftly changed the page editor plugin folder name, that fixed the issue.
All plugins need to be able to run on a locally installed wordpress without blowing up. How else could one know that the thing worked short of becoming familiar with the code?
You don’t:
C:\\documents\websites\WordPress\wp-content\plugins\ <–Test plugins here first… Always?
And use:
C:\\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\host <— to get Free .dev domain names for life!!:)
