Category Discounts for WooCommerce allows you to offer bulk discounts at the category level. Offer a percentage or a flat discount for products in one or multiple categories. Encourage customers to shop more by displaying discount messages on the product page.

NOTE: It is a simple discount plugin. It aims to offer a product category-wide discount.

Installation

Just use the WordPress installer or upload to the /wp-content/plugins folder. Then Activate the Category Discounts for WooCommerce plugin.

• MySQL version 5.0 or greater

FAQ

Can I set a validity for the discount offer ?

Yes. You can set up an expiry date for the offer. You can also schedule an offer to get activated at a future date.

Are the discounts visible in the product page ?

You can show a crossed-out original price along with a discounted price.

Can I create multiple offers?

Yes. You can create any number of offers using the plugin.

I just installed it and it works fine so far! Worked from the beginning. Just what I was looking for. Thank you very much! It is easy to configure and one can give discounts for elements in a category. One does not have to put up categories, it takes the existing ones. Automatically puts the message at the product page, at each one in the category. It is also possible to set several rules for the category, e.g.: buy 2 – 9 get 20% off, buy 10 – 20 get 30 % off. It is a “simple” plugin (for the user simple), yet strong and does what it should. Very well done. Worth a try, since it is hard to find any other plugin for free which does the same.
