    Hello,

    i have linked wordpress to my host and my domain name and created and admin account. I wrote it down on paper thinking I will get a confirmation mail. However I never got the email and can t connect. How to I connect to my account without the mail?

    It seems like a DNS(Domain name server) issue to me. Did you update your name servers with your domain name?

    I think so. I tried to fix the problem by deleting everything and redo the link of the domain name and WordPress. I redid everything correctly and it worked. Now I have another little problem. Is there a way for me to work on my WordPress website without having it online? I want to design the website but I don’t want it online while I am working on it. I want it online when I am done working with it. Is there a way to do this?

    Yes, you can setup a local server on your PC or best and easiest way is to use a WordPress maintenance plugin which will allow you to display website under construction message for audience but you can login to your website and access it fully. That way you will save your time. You just have to turn off the maintenance button once you are ready to go live.
