    Your theme has this:

    .mkd-woocommerce-page .product .price, .mkd-woocommerce-page .product img:not(.avatar), .woocommerce .product .price, .woocommerce .product img:not(.avatar) {
        display: block;
        width: 100%;
    }

    That makes them 100% width.

    As for product-image.php, if the theme has it’s own version it’s not in our hands.

    The problem came as soon as I had overwritten the template from the plugin to the theme (as it was suggested in the “status” page). My theme doesn’t have it’s own version because Woo was installed independently, so I have no idea how that code you mention came up.

    The code mentioned above is in a file belonging to your theme:

    There are many problems with the styling of these thumbnails. Your best hope would be to contact the theme developer, as we don’t support commercial themes here.

    Answer of my theme developer:
    We’re still waiting for the stable version of WC and then we’ll start to update all themes if necessary. Meanwhile, you can try 3.3.1 version as well, because plugin author confirms 3.3.0 was faulty. You can read more about it here: https://woocommerce.wordpress.com/2018/02/01/woocommerce-3-3-1-status-update/?
    But we suggest using 3.2.6 version because it is completely stable.

    How do I safely downgrade to previous release?

    This is exactly the same problem I’m going through. All my check out images are now giant full size images instead of small thumbnails. The theme developer echoed the same advice.

    Answer from my theme developer:

    This issue of new version of WooCommerce they remove feature to set thumbnail of image on shopping cart. Please wait for stable version of WooCommerce before update.

    These problems have real world impact on sales. I would like to know that answer as well:

    How do I safely downgrade to a previous release?

    this is what bugs me about woocommerce and its support folks – they blame something else and then when evidence shows it wasn’t something else, they disappear.

    well Martin, as a matter of fact this is EVERY plugin’s author habit

    Huh? I’m not a plugin author or a “woocommerce folk”. I’m a volunteer that spent some of my free time to help you out. As you’re not satisfied with that level of support I suggest hiring someone. Please try https://jobs.wordpress.net/ or https://jetpack.pro/ and do not accept any hire offers posted to these forums.
