How can i limit the attachment in the editor

By default, you have some pre-defined files that can be attached. As of now, it is not possible to remove the attachment from the editor or to set file type and file size. We will add this to our feature list.

Yes it needs to be added as soon as possible as this poses a great security risk to the server.
please work on it as soon as possible, let there be files types and file size limit, even if the attach button will still be there no problem

but then large limit file size can be a treat to server load, what i basically needs is pdf, jpg and png with a limit of not higher than 1mb

In this case, you can set the maximum size of your attachments by updating the field upload_max_filesize= in php.ini

Nop, this will affect other areas of my site, i want to restrict the form file attachment only, not the entire wordpress file limit.

This is not possible as of now. We will implement it soon.

THANKS FOR THE UPDATE ON THE TEXT AREA DESCRIPTION FIELD, YOU HAVE REMOVED THE ATTACH FILE THERE, AND IS VERY OKAY THAT WAY, IF ANY ONE WANT FILE UPLOAD HE CAN EITHER CREATE A FILE UPLOAD FIELD SEPARATELY.

BUT ALSO KEEP WORKING ON THE LIMITING OF FILE TYPES AND SIZE IN THE ATTACHMENT FIELD, BUT SO FAR I CAN USE THE PLUGIN NOW, WHILE I WAIT FOR YOU TO ADD THE LIMIT TO ATTACHMENT FUNCTIONS. THANKS SO MUCH
