    Okay,

So I’ve been working on a new blog in a temporary directory (example.com/wp) on the domain. Now that I’m finished I thought I’d change the setting so the blog can be reached without adding ‘wp’.

Cause I was overconfident, thinking I could fix it, I never read https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory until now… I just changed the blog address in the dashboard.

Problem now is that somehow I can not login to the dashboard anymore. I can get into the login page (example.com/wp/wp-login./php) but once I click ‘login’ wordpress refers me to example.com/wp-login.php and I get a 404 error message… The example.com/wp page can still be visited but shows a ‘minimal’ version, the one you get when you have low bandwidth.

I know this can be fixed by resetting what I did before, but since I can’t get into the dashboard it’s not that easy. Can anyone tell me in which wordpress file I have to change something so I can login again?

Thanks very much for you help.
