what happens if you click the remove-link icon in the editor?

I cannot remove the link because in the editor the text is not linked! ??
Neither in the “visual” mode nor in the “text” mode.
The text is transformed in the published post view.

The browser is making a link a link. You could try putting it in “code” tags using the editor toolbar.

You are right! The link is not in the generated HTML, so the responsible is the browser. But I believe this happens only on my pages, because going on other pages it doesn’t happen! so… could it be some setting?
Putting the string inside the code tag doesn’t work, the text appears grey but is automatically hyperlinked.
