limit the number of text description

    please i love the plugin very much, but i want to limit the displayed field value by words or character. because i have a buddypress field that says about the user, and you know some users may have written something very long about themselve and if i out put it in the directory it will look messy, please i want to limit this by lets say 50words or 200 characters maximum.

    Hi pandglobal,

    Thanks for your request. I like the idea of offering a max or min field length setting on the DUD Settings page. I’ll add this to my list of planned features. It may be a little while before I can work it in but I will do so in the near future.
