So I’m using conditional logic add-on for Ninja Forms and based off certain selections, the conditional drop down chain could be as long as 6 drop downs. So I’m looking to see if there is a way to have the drop downs say “Select One” instead of the drop down being the first option and also have “Select One” not be a submittable field so that if a required field has “Select One” chosen, it triggers the warning to choose an option. Also that way I don’t have to create any conditional logic settings for hiding those drop downs if Select One is chosen.

I’m now seeing that if I put a new field in the drop down but don’t provide a Value for it, on the front end, it doesn’t recognize “Select One” as a submittable option and says it’s still a required field…is this true?

The functionality that you mentioned in your second reply is true. You can remove the value option for the Select One option. This will make that option fail the required field check.
