Wrong Symbol for Canadian Dollar

    Hi Team,

    We request you to please change the Canadian dollar symbol for currency, when we select it shows as CAD in the settings and appearing like CA$ (non official) instead of CAD (official) as client is asking to change the symbol to official one.

    Hi @amitwaliahtml.

    CA$ was taken from Stripe itself, as this is how it marks Canadian dollar.

    I’m intending to change it to C$ as this seems to be an official symbol as well. Or you want it specifically to be changed to CAD?

    Yes it would be good if you can change it to CAD.

    Or there is one solution to give option in settings which ever feels suitable client can add that symbol; as you can see in screenshots Canadian dollar has many official symbol variations.

    Ok, I will probably add configurable option for currency symbol. This should be implemented in the upcoming version which is 1-2 days away from now.

    I’ve made a testing version with this functionality implemented – https://desertfox.me/miniserv/_public/stripe-payments-1.7.9.2t2.zip

    Delete the current plugin and install this one instead. Then go to Stripe Payments -> Settings and you’ll see new field called “Currency Symbol”. Modify it as you like and then save settings.

    Let me know if there are any issues.

    PS: This testing version can be updated via standard WP means after new stable version is released (e.g. no need to delete it and install stable again).
