xMag footer boxes text

I am sure this must be simple.. but I can’t see how to edit the text in the footer boxes that appear on pages that use the “default template” – or indeed how to remove any of those boxes. Doesn’t seem to be anywhere in the “customise” section. Furthermore in my “about” page, several of the boxes appear twice..
