Is Autosync unsubscribing active contacts from lists?

    Recently contacts are being automatically unsubscribed from a list with the reason: N/A (Unsubscribed by an admin)

    This happens daily. Mailchimp claims this is a result of an API call but they are not providing much more information than that. My question, is it possible that auto sync is unsubscribing users from a specific list? I would think that this could not happen unless the user’s profile shared or passed the same subscription information for lists. I was under the assumption that autosync would update name, email and any custom field information that had changed but did not modify current subscriptions.

    Do you mean UserSync?

    Maybe you turned on the checkbox on userprofile so users can unsubscribe from there?

    You can set the log on MailChimp for WP > Other page to log everything and see if you get some feedback there?

    Thanks for the response. This confirms my research so far. It looks to be on MailChimp’s end but I’ll let you know if that is not true.
