We appreciate your feedback. The noindex subpages feature has been removed from Yoast SEO v6.3 as Google has gotten much better at paginated series, and it’s now actually detrimental to use.

    Hi
TeamYost is thinking about the crawl budget as per the link.
    https://www.thesempost.com/google-crawl-budget-seos-need-know-googlebot-crawling/#Noindex_Crawl_Budget

    I did not consider crawling-budget.
I am talking about Google UX.

For example, let’s say that the SERP’s of a query is as follows.

    1.mydomin:Article-A
    2.mydomin:List of articles(2/15)
    3.mydomin:List of articles(14/15)
    4.Other domains

I do not think that such search results are appropriate.
It was this when it was the previous setting.

    1.mydomin:Article-A
    2.mydomin:List of articles
    3.mydomin:Article-Y
    4.Other domains

Which is a good user interface?
I do not want to display useless article lists or category lists.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

same issue here. I simply do not want the pages /2/, /3/, /155/ of my front page and my archives in the Google index. To remove this noindex-function, is not good.

At least provide us with some fix please. Nobody wants useless sub pages indexed.

    Thanks!

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to noindex the subpages anymore. You can read more on why this feature was removed here.
