404 Get Request on Orfeo – Bug?

    Hello,

    I am testing the Orfeo theme for a simple one page website. According to GTMetrix it takes 4.5s to load. On analysing the load waterfall, I found out that Orfeo is getting 404 to GET Webfonts from Google Fonts and also to Favicon.

    This 404 slows down the website load by 3 seconds. Please, check the screenshot here https://www.diigo.com/item/image/5pj5q/hq6d

    Any advice to solve this issue is welcome.

  • Hey there,

    Thank you for contacting us. For the favicon, it’s not a part of the theme but seems to be an issue due to custom coding or a plugin.

    And the fonts are not being loaded as your site isn’t configured adequately with CloudFront as the assets are still being loaded from their domain and browsers don’t allow that. If you see your source code, the domain isn’t mapped correctly.
