Make syllabus collapsible on course page?

This is not possible without some custom development. The outline widget (for sidebars) is collapsible (as it’s a list/tree view) but the syllabus (with the cards) is not collapsible.

You could remove the action for the syllabus using LifterLMS Labs: Action Manager (https://lifterlms.com/docs/lab-action-manager/) and then use the outline shortcode to output the collapsible version from the sidebar instead of the default non collapsible one: https://lifterlms.com/docs/shortcodes/#lifterlms_course_outline

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately the outline doesn’t work properly in the page, it tries to extend the entire width of the page and is offset to the right, even when I create a 3 column page and put it in the middle. It would be cool to have this sort of tree/accordion option built in as a course with many lessons looks messy when it is all expanded by default.

The outline widget is intended to be used in sidebars so I understand that it’s not a great solution but it’s the only one I have.

I have a lot of requests to make the syllabus collapsible and I’d like to fulfill every request but I haven’t prioritized it for development. I have a lot of things that I need to do and I can’t get them all done.

Sorry I don’t have a feature that satisfies your needs and I hope you can find a way to make due without it for the mean time.

No problem, I actually got it to work by cutomizing the page and adding the course sidebar in place of the syllabus.
