    Hi there,

    Hope everybody’s doing well today.

https://www.alfardanproperties.com is the website. It’s working fine.

However after changing it to “https://” i can’t seem to open the https://wwww.alfardanproperties.com/wp-admin i can’t find the answer why. I have tried shutting all the plugins down and changing the URL/Path on the settings area.

Also, if the Bluehost customer service revert the Theme to the standard wp theme, it works! then if i use the theme i made it goes back to the same problem.

I checked all the files of my theme – i couldnt find the answer to my problem – even the cause why i cant seem to find it.

Im not an expert or intermediate on WP and PHP… so if ever kindly some one out there give me some tips?

Thank you very much and i really appreciate the help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

You should enable the debug mode and see if you get any error when you try to reach the dashboard.

How to enable the debug mode: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Debugging_in_WordPress#WP_DEBUG

You know i did what you’ve advised. it worked find and showed me a debug.log (if im not mistaken). however when i have fixed all the troubles there its still the same. so i am guessing this is from the url path or something.

i had spoken with the customer support of my hosting. it was with their side. its from an htaccess file they modified. it works fine now.

    thank you WOptimize.io

Ok, fixing errors is good anyway ??

Try to do both of these actions:
    – force the new https url in the wp-config.php file (https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_The_Site_URL)
    – delete the .htaccess file (or better, rename it to something else, so you can restore it if needed)

    Check now if it works.

Ah, good to know! I’m happy you resolved the issue!
I was writing the reply while you replied again, and I was suggesting to delete the .htaccess (which is generated automatically when you save the permalink structure) ??
