Question about date-specific timed content

    We are looking to install this plugin but have some questions about how it works.

    #1 Can you make certain content appear on a certain day? Meaning we can set content to show up on say April 1, 2018? Is that possible or is it all done through time increments of 12-24 hours?

    #2 Will this allow you to display a snippet of the timed content, then they can click it to read the entire content?

    About #1 yes, you can make content appearing on a certain day and even a certain time (e.g. on April 1, 2018 between 10:30 am and 3:15 pm). That’s what the plugin is designed for.

    About #2 no, this is out of the scope of this plugin. Only the whole content will either be visible or not.

    Ok but can you make the quote a hyperlink and perhaps it can open a new page that has the full quote? Meaning I can make regular WordPress pages for the entire quote, but I need to know if the quote snippet can be made a hyperlink.

    The plugin will only show or hide existing content, nothing else.

    Maybe you want to try the regular “more” function of the WordPress editor.

    Thank you for the info. I am not familiar with the “more” function of the WordPress editor.

    We are looking for a plugin that will display a snippet of a “daily inspiration” but it needs to show up on a particular day. And that daily inspiration snippet needs to be clickable. So it sounds like your plugin does not allow for it to be clickable/a hyperlink, otherwise its seems it meets the other criteria.

    And when I say “clickable” I mean we can add a hyperlink to the quote and it can be clicked to open a regular WordPress page.

    If you are not familiar with the basic functions of WordPress you should learn this first before trying to use plugins. Maybe many of your problems are already solved in WordPress itself and you just did not realize yet.
