    Hi guys.

I have been using and old version of NG for many years, as i always experienced link problems when i updated to newer versions. As my page is hosted on WPEngine, i had to go with an update this week, as it was mandatory to update to latest NG version, when hosting through WPEngine.

And now i have the problem. In Chrome it seems to work fine, but in IE, the permalink structure is different – if you compare the “www.bargainandalucia.dk/tvangssalg” site between Chrome and IE, you will find that URL’s on all the FEAUTERED POST IMAGES are different.

The Chrome os include the category (which is correct) like this:

    https://www.bargainandalucia.dk/tvangssalg/post-title

While the IE version of the exact same page, shows broken URL’s, by leaving out the category part, and instead showing links like this:

    https://www.bargainandalucia.dk/post-title

Why is this?!?!?! How come one browser shows one thing and another something else, on the exact same site, after a small uodate?!

@emildebski – “Featured Images” are a theme item, although NextGEN Gallery does provide access to its library of images to be used as a featured image it does not manage those images as they are copied into the WordPress Media Library where the theme would then continue to used them from.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
