• Greets,

I have now realized that I have exceeded the capacities of WordPress with the pages I have created for my site. I solved the “500” error yesterday by adding a php.ini file in wp-admin with 20MB, but after adding a few more pages I am right back at the 500 error.

I cannot access the pages, edit pages, etc. Everything else works.

Does anyone know how I can either:
    1) Delete some pages outside of the wordpress shell (as all I get is a 500 error) – if I delete some I may be able to access the dashboard controls again, and figure something out; or

    2) Increase WordPress’ capacity further (the 20MB php.ini didn’t last, and increasing that number doesn’t seem to help).

    PLEASE PLEASE HELP.

    Thank you.

  • Not sure about 2, but for 1
You could delete the records in your wp_posts table via phpMyAdmin. You also might consider changing the post_status in wp_posts to the value of post to salvage the information–changes it from a page to a post.

CAUTION: First do a database backup (see WordPress Backups
