Blank layout with Flickr Photoset

    Hi all,

    For several days (I can’t specify how many) my layouts with Flickr Photosets are shown in blank. It shows the title of the Photoset and the placeholder for the thumbnails, and if I move the cursor over them, the titles of each one appear and I can click to see them. I have not changed anything on my website, just update some plugins. I’ve not changed the theme in 2 years. The most curious thing is that if I edit a page with the plugin that does not work, in preview mode it works!!

    Can anyone give me a clue about what to investigate?

    The code on your website seems unchanged – it doesn’t look like you have put in the fix. I am looking at the file https://fotohiking.com/wp-content/plugins/photonic/include/scripts/photonic.js, and it doesn’t show the line I had suggested.

    Hi Sayontan,

    When I saw that the test did not work I recovered the previous version of the file.

    Anyway, don’t worry because I found what caused the problem: the new Jetpack feature of deferred loading of images. I have disabled it and it already loads the layout perfectly.

    Hi Santiago,
    I would still suggest leaving the code in, since your theme uses Bootstrap. There is a known conflict between themes using Bootstrap (like your theme) and plugins using JQuery Tooltip (like Photonic), and the line I have provided will help address that in the future if your theme opts to add a Bootstrap Tooltip feature.
