Move Contact Form to Overlay the Header

  • I’m trying to move the contact-form (using Ninja Forms) that came bundled with the Twenty Seventeen theme to not be below the header but ON the header. Like you can see in this picture.

    Could you please help me with this tweak? (When the contact form moves to the header, I’ll not need anymore the scrollbar or the page below the header) To be very honest, I only need this single page with the contact-form on the header.

    Ninja Forms doesn’t come bundled with Twenty Seventeen. Perhaps your hosting providers are meddling with the plugins available on your WordPress installation, or maybe you installed it separately and forgot.

    I’m afraid the solution is not straight forward and will need someone that has knowledge of the plugin and this theme to help.

    If nobody responds for a while you may have to try https://jobs.wordpress.net/ or https://jetpack.pro/ but do not accept any hire offers posted to these forums.

    In the meantime, you should provide a screenshot of responsive views and not just desktop.

    Hi Andrew, thanks for the quick response.

    In this scenario is probable that GoDaddy (my host provider) got it bundled on the WordPress installation.

    In the responsive version it’s fine for me, only displaying the contact form.

    I also tried to move the contact form in front of the header using position:absolute but it messed up with the bottom area and the “go down” button.

    If you don’t need the image of the twenty-seventeen theme on the home page, then this might be a possible solution.

    You can get rid of the plants, by going to appearance>customize and remove them. Then go to the home page and place a “featured image” on that page. You can then define a negative margin to place the form above the image and higher up the page.

    You will have to use different images on all your pages rather than the transformed plant. Or have nothing at all. above the content of the page.
