PHP Warning: Illegal string offset

I failed to generate this error on my end. Could you please send me the debug logs. You will find it in Social Buttons -> Help menu. It will help me to fix the issue.

Sorry, but the issue is still unresolved. I still have the same error and it’s happening every day… Sadly I think I’m going to have to deactivate the plugin… Is anyone else having the same issue?

I just released a new version of Simple Social buttons and this issue has been fixed. Please update your plugin and let us know the feedback.

the recent update crashed my complete site… had to deaktivate it ??

I updated the plugin today and my site is working fine at first sight, with good speed. I’ll monitor the error logs in the next few days to make sure everything is working properly.

I’d just like to let you know I’ve really enjoyed this plugin so far. I’m waiting a little bit more to add a review but I consider it a great alternative to Sumome because it doesn’t slow down my site as much or generates errors constantly (this is the first one I’ve reported). The only thing it would make it better would be to add a bottom bar sharing option (like the side bar but at the bottom) for mobile devices. Although I love the effectivity of the sidebar, some of my customers have complained that it’s intrusive and a bit annoying cause it blocks part of the written content. A bottom bar would be a nice alternative for these situations and just as effective as the side bar.
