People can’t register, “Not Allowed to Do this”

  • I’m using Easy Event Manager. The first few events worked perfect, but now everyone trying to sign up receives this error in a yellow box:

    “You’re not allowed to do this. If you believe you’ve received this message in error please contact the site owner.”

    Does anyone have a quick fix? We’ve got an event coming up in two days and no one can register. Help please!

    just to narrow down the problem and help us debug the issue is it possible to try the following temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems
