  • Hi @great-taste,

Can you explain what action triggers the error?

Do you have the Wordfence plugin installed? It may be responsible for this error. Can you try disabling it to see if the error disappears?

The first example with this corrected url (https://www.great-taste.net/directory/crema-cafe-seal-beach/) is viewing a directory listing and the second error is from editing a post on our site. It also is triggered when viewing an event like this – https://www.great-taste.net/event/three-course-easter-brunch-3/
No, we don’t have wordfence installed.
    Thank you,
    Teri

    Thankyou @great-taste,

I suspect these errors are most likely a result of a plugin conflict (usually caused by a caching or security plugin)..

Can you try this test? Disable all plugins and then check if the problem recurrs — then re-enable each one until you find which one caused the problem.

    Been there, done that! ??
    We can’t find the problem.

    Thankyou @great-taste,

Can you confirm that your WordPress installation, and the core calendar, and the Venues addon are all up-to-date?

Also, we recommend that your host run PHP version 5.6 (min) up to version 7.0 (max). Currently version 7.1 and up are unstable with the plugin (our Dev team is updating the plugin for compatibility for the next release, TBA).

It may also help to switch PHP versions (up or down) — in some cases it was able to solve a problem.

    Let me know the results.

    PHP Version: 5.6
    Wordpress Version: 4.94

All of our Timely plugins and add-ons are up to date.

We have been getting this error for years in many different versions.

I was hoping you could find or had found a fix.

Is there anything you can try for me?

    Hi @great-taste,

There’s one step I have left for you to try from your end:

If it’s not a conflict and all software is up to date, I suggest a manual reinstall. These instructions will preserve your current events:

    – Perform a complete back up of your database before proceeding further
    – Delete the file uninstall.php from the plugin directory that is currently on the server (found under /wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar). Deleting this file ensures that when you uninstall the current version of the plugin, your event data and calendar settings will be preserved when you delete the plugin (don’t skip this step – it’s important!)
    – Deactivate the All-in-One Event Calendar using your WordPress Dashboard.
    – Delete the All-in-One Event Calendar using your WordPress Dashboard.
    – Database -> wp_options, click option_name to sort and delete everything with ai1ec_, this will delete plugin settings but events will remain in the database.
    – Now install the latest version.

    Hi @great-taste,

The easier step is to try switching PHP versions, usually there is an option in your hosting CP, or, you can ask your host to switch up to 7.0.

Have you or any of your developers have ever seen an error such as this?

    Hi @great-taste,

For this error, there is only the one report from you. I found a support request archived in our Support system also. May I ask you to open another one, and in the ticket, specfically address me by name, Sunny — so I can continue there?

You can open a ticket by clicking on the Get Help link, or click here: https://dashboard.time.ly/account/get-help.

Thank you Sunny. I’ll open a ticket. WPEngine thinks it’s some kind of syntax error in the /nas/content/live/greattaste/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar-venue/app/model/venue.php:286 #8 file.

    @great-taste

    Received. Stand by.
