    I looked at using that plugin in my own projects but it has a few shortcomings so I wrote my own.

    Basically mine references the login URL rather wp-login.php (generally wp-login.php is the login URL but it does not have to be). My plugin also handles custom post statuses. Finally my plugin is better coded.

    Essentially they both achieve the same thing but my plugin is better.
