Changing field value depending on select

  • Hello,

    I’d like to be able to have the value of a hidden field being changed depending on what the user selects.

    So i created a hidden field and a select, and I also installed conditional fields plugin.

    I already used this plugin before and it was working great for what I needed to achieve at the time.

    But the problem is that the plugin doesn’t let me choose what I want to do. I’m able to add the condition, but i can only choose “shox” action. Which means that if the user selects a certain value, then it will “show” a given field. I don’t want to show the field, I only want it’s value to change… Is it possible to do ?

    Can anyone help me do this ?

    Hello… I’m still stuck with this thing… Anybody ?
    I’m not sure if I was very clear but basically, I want the value of a given field to change when I select an option.
    Is it doable with contact form 7 ?
    Or is there a plugin to install ? Conditional fields plugin was no help…
