Not scanning plugins

  • If I use Anti-Malware Security and Brute-Force Firewall, theme scanning is going well. If I wanted to check on plugins, it going to try, but after 20 seconds, it hangs and doesn’t do anything.

    Your server might not be configured to allow PHP enough memory to run the Quick Scan on the whole plugins directory. You could try asking your host to increase the memory_limit in the php.ini file on your server or you can just run the Complete Scan on plugins. The Complete Scan will take longer but it is more thorough and was designed to overcome these kind of memory limits by breaking up the scan process into smaller jobs.
