Yesterday, I was inserting an image onto my post. I lost the ability to rotate the image and resize. Usually you have 5 options (thumbnail, medium, large, full, custom). It only has full and custom. Upon deactivation of WPSmush my sizing options came back but not the rotation. How do I get everything working okay again?

    Hi @goofychas,

    Hope you’re doing well ??

Are you referring to the thumbnail selector in the media selection window as shown in this screenshot:

Did you have any changes yesterday when this started happening, some plugins or theme update?

Could you try disabling your other plugins and switching to the default theme to check if one of those is conflicting with Smush and causing this?
This will help us to pinpoint the cause and we can debug it further from there.

    Cheers,

Yes, that is what I’m talking about. It seems to be only allowing full size and will not rotate. The only changes I made was I was deactivating Updraft Plus and when I selected deactivate instead – WPSmush deactivated for some reason. I reactivated it and then deactivated Updraft. After that is when the problem happened. I will try some of your suggestions and if you have any more information for me, please let me know.

    Thanks

    Hi @goofychas,

I’ve tested WP Smush with UpdraftPlus but couldn’t replicate the issue with either image sizes or deactivating Smush instead of Updraft so it seems this is unrelated.
Let us know how the conflict test goes.

    Best regards,

Okay, turns out it was another plugin causing a conflict with WPSmush and the new update of that plugin as solved the problem. Thank you for all your suggestions and help.
