• I am looking at building a new WordPress portfolio website, which I want to future proof as much as I can for the next few years. I would like to use a CSS Grid Layout as that seems to be the future and could well replace other grid systems such as Bootstrap etc, but I cannot seem to find out too much about how CSS Grids work with WordPress or any WordPress Themes (Free is possible) that use a CSS Grid layout.

Does anyone have any advice / help or knowledge of using CSS Grids on a WordPress website?

    Many Thanks!

As a note, CSS grids work with WordPress the exact same as it does without WordPress. CSS doesn’t care about the CMS being used.

You use Boostrap 4 instead of css grid. This is a better option for grid layout

Thanks Andrew, I understand what you are saying but I guess I am more referring to themes using CSS Grids, or is it best to integrate your own CSS Grid layout within the template but how will this affect the theme if its using another grid system already and how do page builders fit in with all this?
