    Hi
Can backup revisions be deleted? I have about 6 of them for one post and it gets confusing.
If indeed you are making a revision of a post… wouldn’t you be ready-editing or revising the post that is finally “ PUBLISHED” to update it. ???
I see so many variations of one post as backup revisions that it’s a bit hard to realize that you’re PUBLISHED post is indeed the LAST one you want if you decide later to edit again?
    A bit confusing
    Thanks
    Howard

  • i have numerous pages with numerous revisions. an example of a Projects page shows these variations in my pages listings. I’m not understanding how this works or something.

Guys – you can delete the Draft or Backup revisions if you want. They’re kept around in case you want your old version back.

Look at the settings panel and uncheck “Keep Backups” if you don’t want them.

Also checkout the Enhanced Settings addon.

So, any Revision, Draft or Backup Revision, Draft can be deleted if we don’t need a backup of the old version?

Where do we find the current live version and the proposed new version?

    thanks!

All Revisionize posts/pages are Draft until they’re published. When you publish one, it copies itself onto the current live/published post/page.

Anything that is “Draft” isn’t live. Do with it what you want.
