WordPress 4.9.5 Admin Panel Post – Pages – Library – Comment Layout is Off

    Hello.

    After updating to WordPress 4.9.5 the layout of post/page/library/comment listing seems off.

    Please check the following image:

    Additionally we checked the code and it seems that the problem is on:
    </th><tdclass='title column-title has-row-actions column-primary' data-colname=Τ?τλο?"><div class="locked-info"><span class="locked-avatar"></span> <span class="locked-text"></span></div>

    It seems that every td in tbody missing a space between td and class.

    We tried to:

    • Reinstall wordpress
    • Disable all plugins
    • Switch to default theme

    None of the above worked.

    We check for weird code somewhere in the installation or error logs on server but nothing came up related to this.

    Add/Edit Post/Page, front panel as well as all other sections in admin panel seems to work fine.

    Please advise on how to proceed in order to fix this issue.

    Have you tried manually updating? if not, try MANUALLY updating. Download WordPress again and unzip it. Access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), and delete then replace your copies of everything on the server except the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download. This will effectively replace all of your core files without damaging your content and settings. Please read the Manual Update directions first.
    – Backup: If you haven’t already done, always backup everything (including your database) before doing any actions, just in case something really goes wrong. You can never have enough backups!

    Thank you for your response

    I haven’t tried to manually update but downloaded wp-includes and wp-admin folders and check against differences with a fresh WordPress 4.9.5

    Sadly nothing came up.

    I’ll try your suggestion and report back.

    Sorry for the late response.

    I manually reinstalled/updated latest version of WP as you suggested and everything is back to normal.

    Its weird because I compared the core files of the server with the clean downloaded WP files and there was no difference whatsoever.

    Maybe was a poorly cached file on the server or file permission mismatch during the initial update.

    Anyway anything is back to normal now after replacing the core files with manual update option.
