First Comment Becomes Hidden After Second Comment

  • I have a weird issue lately. The first comment on the Facebook Comments plugin will always display on my posts just fine. After a second comment rolls in, the first comment becomes hidden. Sometimes there will be a “Load 1 More Comment” button, but when I click it, nothing happens. Any subsequent comments will display just fine while the first always remains missing.

    The hidden comment will reveal itself if I change the “Sort by” on the top right to “Newest” instead of the default “Top.”

    Any recommended actions?

    That’s very strange and we think this issue comes from Facebook Api and unfortunately we can’t do anything with this.

    I am also seeing this issue. I can go into “moderate comments” and see both comments, but only the first one will show on the list.
