[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Mix between singlepic & gallery

  • Hi all,

    I’ve found this thread :

    I’ve got the same problem. I’d like to insert a picture in a post & when you click on it, you can then click left & right to the other pictures from the gallery the picture belongs. I’m sure being very clear, but as Mattn said, it’s a mix between the singlepic function & the gallery function.

    I make it clearer:

    In my post, i’ve got two pics:
    one to illustrate my intro a the beginning of my post.
    one to illustrate the chapter 2 somewhere in the middle of the post.
    Those two pictures are in the same gallery.

    I’m using the singlepic shortcode to insert those pics. When i click on one of those pics, i got only the picture on which i clicked.

    I’d like to be able to navigate through my gallery when i click on one of those pics. But i need to keep those two pictures separate, just like two single pictures.

    How can i do this ? Thank you for your help.

    I too would like to know how to do this. Does anyone have an answer? On the surface, this seems like a basic feature. Are we just missing something here?

    just a question to make this clearer to me, do you want to browse the whole gallery mentioned or only the pictures displayed particular on that page, because the latter could work by altering code, the former wont work this way cause all of these lightthickthinboxes i know of rely on linked pictures on the same page they work from.
