• This is a weird one. After the site updated to the latest version of WordPress on 4/3, no posts added after that date show preview images on social media sites (Twitter / LinkedIn).

There is no difference in the metadata being generated. The only variable we’ve been able to identify is the date after which content is posted. Backdating new content doesn’t resolve this. Any post added after 4/3 will not have readable metadata by Twitter. I’ve compared the generated metatags line by line, and I can’t find a single thing that might be causing a read error. They’re all being properly generated, and read properly on open graph check.

I’ve checked the card validator for twitter (https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator) and it throws the same error for all new posts:

    INFO: Page fetched successfully
    WARN: No metatags found

I’ve got YOAST installed, updated the plugin to see if it was an issue, but the metatags generated are identical – there’s no difference I can see between them.

    Any ideas?
